A List of Powerful Herbs to Attract Love [& How to Use Them]

In ancient times, priests used herbs during rites to scare away evil spirits. In those times it was customary to carry a small bag full of various herbs, as an amulet to ward off bad energy, attract success and attract love. It is worth mentioning that even today this tradition is very common in certain communities.

Herbs are also used in magic, mainly in making love ties, which belong to green magic, also known as herbal magic. One of the most effective methods when making a love tie with herbs is to blow powdered grass on the flame of the candle while doing the ritual, as with this, greater results are achieved.

A list of my favorite herbs to attract love

Although there are different ways to attract a loved one, the Amazonian Indians, often use some of the following herbs, with which you can practice some rituals:

Magnolia

Using Magnolia’s flower in a spell will bring fidelity. It is an amazing addition to a bath spell to attract love.

Mullein

The leaves of this plant accentuate readings and potions.

Rose

A must-have ingredient in a love spell. Used since ancient times as a divinatory tool, roses are amazing to attract love and passion into your life. Special ingredients for bath spells too.

A powerful prayer for you to recover your love

You must have unwavering faith, that you are focused on what you want, and pray the following prayer:

“Oh God, Our Father, you left us as a model to follow the faith of Saint Mark. Take us away from thoughts of hatred and envy. May we realize the love that can reign among all human beings, if we are aware of your love, sir, we ask this through your servant.

Oh, I beg you to disarm the heart of (say the person’s name), so that (he or she) comes without anyone stopping (him/her). Let (him/her) run and run without anyone helping (him/her), may the streets become short and (his/her) steps become long, may (he/she) come to me, as a meek lamb, humble and surrendered at my feet.”

This prayer will not only serve you to find a partner, but it also causes that loved one or the person you like to stay by your side and at your disposal.

My favorite spell with herbs to attract love

To make a powerful love tie with herbs, we are going to make use of several of them mixed together, thus taking full advantage of the properties of each of them.

Things you need

You are going to need a large pot, compost, soil, and a basil plant, this you are going to plant yourself and you are going to locate in the living room of your house, you are going to take care of it and keep it leafy, it will be the representation of love in your life, therefore, the importance of their care.

• Dried basil leaves
• Dried leaves of lavender
• Dried leaves of cimicifuga (known in some places as black snake root)
• Red rose petals
• Musk essence
• A saucepan
• A small wooden palette
• A red candle
• A lighter
• A little honey
• A sheet of paper
• A pen or fine marker of red ink
• A small clay bowl with a lid
• A thin red ribbon

How it’s done

Take to the room you chose for this ritual, the basil plant still in its pot.

On a table, place the candle and light it, recite a prayer to the deities of light and ask for their intervention for the love tie that you are going to make.

Write the full name of your loved one at the top of the sheet of paper, leaving room above their name you write your name as well. The idea is that the two are joined, one on top of the other.

Repeat the previous step until completing the sheet; then write on the back.

“By the power that nature and the gods of light give me, I bind your feelings and thoughts as well as your heart. You will only think of me and you will feel love for me, that the light and the essence of each herb are the fuel in our relationship and grow like plants, full of life and always leafy and it will be so.”

As the candle burns out and the beings of light begin to do their work, gradually chop and place the leaves of each herb in the saucepan, trying to focus your mind only on the face of your beloved, all that you want to do with them and what you want in the future with that person.

Imagine how your relationship with them would be and imagine happy moments together, so you put all your positive mental energy into that spell.

Once you have put the leaves in the saucepan, proceed to gradually empty the honey, thus, making your loved one be sweet to you always.

Then empty the musk essence and proceed to mix well with the palette.

Place the folded sheet inside the clay container and pour the mixture on top of the sheet and cover.

Tie with the tape and then bury the container inside the pot, very deep to avoid being discovered.

That plant will grow and give strength to that relationship daily.

When your loved one is already in a relationship with you, or your current relationship has improved, you must plant that plant in the garden of your house and the container can be discarded since by then your wishes will be consummated. The love spell with herbs will be assortment of the desired effect.

Final thoughts

Remember that herbs are wonderful ingredients as they are linked to our mother earth and to its energy. The best thing to do would be to go out there and collect them in nature but, if you can’t find them in your area, you can buy them in a herbalist store or use already prepared oils, candles and so on.
