It can send negativity away while opening this intimate space to amazing things, like brand-new, positive, fresh energy, blessings from the universe, and also serenity, calmness, and peace between all family members.

You can do this at night when things are cozy and you can put your daily schedule on hold. You can also do this when someone comes by and you think this person might have been negative, envious, or so on to re-establish the right energy and open your house to receive more blessings to counteract the negativity.

How to prepare a prayer?

Before praying, you can do a few things to prepare for this moment to truly let it work and manifest.

Sage or smudge your house

This step is great to eliminate any kind of negative energy if you feel them. You can do whatever sounds good for you. Use sage or smudge sticks and cleanse it out! You can follow one of my guides about cleansing to create your own ritual.

Light up a white candle

You can light up a white candle to let the negative energy dissolve and prepare your house to receive the blessings you are going to ask for with the prayer. You can let it burn out completely as a symbol of the light defeating darkness until the end.

Use an amulet

This step is very customizable as you can choose an amulet you like according to the kind of energy and blessing you want the universe to send to your house. If, for example, you need protection, you can use a horseshoe as an amulet or you can use a rune for protection, a sigil for protection, or similar magical tools.

In case you want to attract more luck you can use a four-leaf clover, an evil eye, and more. Choose what you like and, most of all, what makes you feel comfortable and supported.

Meditate

This is my favorite step. When I don’t feel at ease at home I usually freak out as I like to think my house is my safe place, my cocoon from the outside world so when I don’t feel safe and relaxed at home, I start to feel negative and worried. I want my house to be blessed by the universe and its gifts.

Meditation can help me get back on track to have the right mindset and approach to chant this prayer out loud and let it work and manifest at its best.

If meditation is not your thing, you can at least use visualization by closing your eyes, taking a deep breath in, letting a long breath out, and visualizing your house exactly how you want it to be, focusing on the feelings of serenity, happiness, joy, stability, and so on, all those things you would like your house to be filled with.

Create a little ritual

If you are into rituals, you can make something special to truly love your house. Turn the lights on, light a fireplace if you have one, cook something, or take a bath or a shower. If your house has a terrace, a patio, or a balcony, you can go outside and enjoy these spaces. Basically, you can get your house ready for the prayer by starting to show it some gratitude for what it offers to you by spending more time at home and living in it for real.

What to do after the prayer

After the prayer, you can spend some time doing something you love doing at home to let your house feel you are grateful and happy for it to be your safe, special place. You can read a book, relax with a homemade dinner, and so much more. You can repeat the prayer and a ritual, if you choose to perform one, even on a daily basis.

Do what makes you feel good! The more you pray, the more blessings you are going to attract and receive for your house!
