Because the Winter Solstice falls right in the middle of the mainstream holiday season, keeping a good Yule cocktail recipe in your back pocket always proves useful.
I focused on using ingredients with magical properties specific to the spirit of the season.
White Chocolate

Okay, these are really Christmas cookies. But they’re super elegant, and I see no reason to play semantics with “Christmas tree” vs. “Yule tree.
Ingredients
-1-ounce white chocolate liquor (I used Godiva)
-1/2 ounce vanilla vodka
-1/2 whipping cream
-pinch of ground cinnamon or nutmeg.
Directions
Pour white chocolate liquor, vanilla vodka, and whipping cream in a cocktail shaker over ice. Shake well. Strain.
Sprinkle nutmeg or cinnamon on top.
Optional garnishes: Cinnamon sticks or chocolate shavings.
