The Dei Lucrii is the collective title of the local or personal Gods of commerce that ancient Romans invoked to ensure success in business and a good profit. The God Mercury effectively replaced them.
It seems as if the Dei Lucrii were mentioned disapprovingly by the Christian writer Arnobius in 330 C.E.
Indeed, who is there who would believe that there are gods of profit, and that they preside over the pursuit of profits, which come most of the time from base sources and always at the expense of others
However, I believe by the time this was written, Mercury would have taken over their functions and replaced them completely as this transition started around the 4th century B.C.E. with the Roman Republic.
